this fic is an adaptation of a story I never finished a few years ago - not a fanfic but a novel with original characters, began well before I started watching WC. when I read theatregirl7299's prompts, some spark there rekindled my interest in that. of course, it was completely rewritten for this but... maybe this will inspire me to finish the original. :)
